Hi, my name is Jon and I’m the founder of Digital Prompt. I started Digital Prompt in 2011 as I wanted to create an environment that really focused on creating elegant and easy to use designs with cutting edge technology for people who really care about what they do. Trying to describe what we do is tough as we specialize in building websites, content management systems and mobile applications but we also do a whole lot more. We build solutions that you can trust, using engaging digital innovations sprinkled with our unique style of originality, we don’t follow pre-formatted designs and processes, we create our own.

How Long Does It Take ?

The length of a project depends on what you want us to build. The first step in the process is to understand exactly what you want. After that we can tell you how long your project might take and how much it will cost. Projects we usually work on can range from a few hours to several months.


How Much Will It Costs ?

For new clients we only accept projects that are at least 4 hours long. As soon as we know exactly what you want we can send you a quote.


How Long Am I Tied Into A Contract For The Design And Development Of My Website ?

We use industry standard contracts that agree on what we will deliver, how long it will take and more importatly how much it will cost you before the start of the project. Which means you won't get any nasty surprises on the way.


What support can I expect once the website is built?

That's up to you, we are more than happy to provide ongoing maintenance and support if required. If you want to manage your website yourself we will show you everything you need to update the site yourself.


I don't want to update my own website, can you do it for me?

Yes!


I already have my own website, can you look after it for me?

Short answer, yes. We do and can support code that has been written by other firms, however, before we agree to manage your project, we would need to look at the code first.

Will I know enough to be able to update the content on my own website?

We integrate all our websites using a CMS. This means after we have designed and built your website you will be able to update your website content yourself if you require.


Can you help with search engine optimization (SEO)?

Avoiding a lot of the myths about SEO one of the most important parts of getting good traffic to your site is having great content and knowing how to market your website with the right keywords. If you want to target a particular keyword or improve your sales then we can help you monitor your websites statistics and create a set of tangible tests that will help you reach your goals.

LEAN

Lean manufacturing represents a journey that should never end. It involves the identification and elimination of waste, and the continuous improvement of all operations involved in any form of work. It is a well known fact that the implementation of Lean production systems has saved some companies millions of dollars over the last 20 years or so. The fact is that you don't need to be some monolithic giant to reap the benefits from a LEAN process. We adopted lean to ensure we have the simplest process in our code and project management.

OPEN SOURCE

We are advocates of open source software. Why ? You are free to prototype, develop, and even deploy without paying a cent to a vendor. Because open source software is not owned by a vendor, you are never held hostage by a single, for-profit organization. With the software freely available, you are able to purchase just the services that you need, without being locked into comprehensive software-services bundles with lengthy contracts. With thousands, and often millions of users downloading, testing, and deploying an open source project, the code quality typically surpasses that of commercially-licensed software.
